Updated over 12 months ago

The password is the first line of defense, as it prevents unauthorized persons from accessing a platform. However, in certain cases, it may be the case that you do not remember it or even only need to renew the security of the account because you have shared this information with another person.

For both scenarios there are methods or steps to follow:

CASE A: CHANGE MY ACCOUNT PASSWORD.

1. Log in to your account

  • Go to the Zorrox website or app

  • Log in with your current username and password.

2. Access your account settings

  • Look for the “Settings” option in the main menu of your profile, located in the ACCOUNT section on the left side of your screen.

3. Enter your current password

  • You will be asked to confirm your identity by entering your current password before the change is allowed.

4. Create a new password

  • Choose a new, secure password that is different from your previous ones.

5. Confirm the new password

  • Enter the same password again to make sure there are no typos.

6. Save changes

  • Click “Submit Request”.

CASE B: RECOVER MY ACCOUNT PASSWORD.

1. Access the login page

  • Go to the zorrox website or app.

2. Select “Forgot your password?”

  • This option is usually located below the password entry field.

3. Enter your email or username

  • Enter the email address associated with your account.

4. Verify your identity

  • The system will confirm that it has sent an email to your email address, in which you must verify your identity by accessing the link provided.

5. Create a new password

  • Once your identity is verified, the system will allow you to set a new password.

  • Make sure it's secure: mix uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers and symbols.

6. Access your account

  • Once updated, use the new password to log in.

Tips if you have problems:

  1. Check your inbox (or spam): Sometimes recovery emails may end up in your spam folder.

  2. Make sure you use the correct email: Verify that you are entering the email or number associated with the account.

  3. Contact service support: If you are unable to complete the process, seek help from the support or customer service section of the site.

Password Security Tips:

  • Use unique passwords for each account.

  • Avoid using personal information (such as birth dates or names).

  • Consider using a password manager to store your passwords securely.
